Ingredients list

- Olive oil - Red onions – Brown sugar – Balsamic vinegar – Red pepper – Pine nuts – Butter – Eggs – Milk – Black pepper – Salt – Goat cheese

Step 1

Caramelise the onions and red pepper with brown sugar and balsamic vinegar.

Step 2

Toast the pine nuts while the onions and red pepper are cooking.

Step 3

Beat the eggs in a jug or bowl and add the milk, salt and pepper.

Step 4

Put the onions and peppers in a greased pie dish. Pour on the egg  and milk mixture and place the sliced goats cheese and pine nuts on the  top.

Final step

Place the quiche on a high shelf in your oven and bake for 30 minutes.
