Ingredients list

- Ribeye steaks  – Oil  – Smoked or sea salt flakes  – Ground black pepper  – Butter – Fresh thyme

Step 1

Remove the steak from the fridge between 1 and 1.5 hours before you cook it to ensure it cooks evenly.

Step 2

Get the pan super hot and season the steak generously with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Cook the steaks for 2 to 4 minutes on each side. Turn the heat down to medium and add the butter and thyme and cook for a further 1 to 2 minutes.

Final step

Place the steaks on a wooden board and cover with foil and leave them for 10 minutes.
