Ingredients list

- Dried pasta – Onion – Garlic cloves – Tomato passata – Tomato puree – Chicken or veg stock – Anchovy paste or salt – Black pepper – Oragano – Sugar – Mascarpone – Lemon juice – Fresh basil - Balsamic vinegar - Grated Parmesan - Ground black pepper

Step 1

Fry the onions in olive oil for few minutes until soft and translucent, then add the garlic.

Step 2

Add the tomato passata and puree, stock, anchovy paste, balsamic vinegar, oregano and sugar and simmer.

Step 3

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the mascarpone, fresh basil,and lemon juice.

Final step

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce. Serve immediately, topped with freshly grated Parmesan and ground black pepper.
