Ingredients list

– Chicken thighs  – Cornflour – Soy sauce – Rice vinegar – Honey – Water – Rice – Oil  – Birds eye chilli  – Garlic – Ginger – Spring onions – Sesame seeds

Step 1

Coat the chicken pieces in cornflour. Mix the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar and water in a jug or bowl and set aside and make the slurry.

Step 2

Place a medium-large frying pan on a high heat and add oil. Fry until the chicken until lightly brown and set aside.

Step 3

Fry the garlic, ginger and chilli for a few minutes. Pour on the sauce, add the slurry and stir until the sauce thickens and add the chicken.

Final step

Serve immediately with rice and top with the spring onions and sesame seeds.
