Ingredients list

- Chicken thighs – Egg white - Soy sauce – Cornflour/Cornstarch – White pepper – Ground ginger – Garlic powder – Vegetable Oil – Red onion – Red or green peppers – Cider Vinegar – Tinned pineapple – Rice - Sugar - Ketchup

Step 1

Marinate the chicken in a mixture of soy sauce and egg white, then mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

Step 2

Mix the cornstarch with the salt, pepper, ginger and garlic. Add the chicken until each piece is evenly coated.

Step 3

Fry the chicken in hot oil for a few minutes, turning regularly until lightly golden on all sides and set aside.

Step 4

Fry the onions then the peppers until they soften. Add the pineapple and toss in the pan until it gets hot.

Final step

Add the sauce and let it reduce, then add the chicken, remove from heat and serve immediately with rice.
