- Leftover turkey – Butter – Onion – Mushrooms – Garlic – Thyme – Flour – White wine – Chicken stock – Heavy/double cream – Black pepper – Fresh parsley
Step 1
Cook the onions in melted butter for a few minutes until translucent.

Add the mushrooms and sauté until brown. Then add the garlic and thyme and cook for a minute or two until fragrant.

Add flour and white wine and simmer until the wine is reduced by half.

Final step
Add the chicken stock. Simmer until the sauce thickens. Add the turkey and simmer until warmed. Serve immediately topped with fresh parsley.
